Andover Park

Village of Andover Lake and Park

The Village of Andover Lake and Park sits on a well maintained 10 acre area in the middle of town, adjacent to Route 81. Amenities include two pavilions for gatherings, a Veteran’s memorial site, gazebo, ball diamond, and plenty of playground equipment. Fishing is enjoyed by residents and visitors of all ages. You will also find the historic jail, located in the outfield of a the ball diamond. The jail was built in the early 1900’s to replace the original jail, which was built in the late 1830’s. The jail is known for the story of the town constable and prisoner who accidently got locked in and spent the night there. In 2016, the Andover tourism Council repaired and painted the jail.
